Perfectly boiled shrimp eveytime for shrimp cocktail or shrimp salad. Given to me by a close friend who works a fishing boat in NJ! Ingredients:
1 lb shell-on large shrimp |
water to cover |
1-2 tsp old bay seasoning |
2 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Put the shrimp in cold water and bring to 165 '. Keep at that temperature for 3-5 mins. Less time for smaller,a little more for jumbo. Plunge into ice water with salt added. Ket sit a couple of minutes to cool down. Drain,dry and serve or put in rfrigerator! |
