This was a big hit at the neighborhood cookoff burger contest we had this weekend to raise money for a neighbor whose house burnt down. Greatness in a bun. Enjoy Ingredients:
2 pounds ground chuck |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese |
1 large jalapeno pepper diced |
Directions:
1. Form meat into 8 patties then season with salt and pepper. 2. Divide cheese and jalapeno between 4 patties then place remaining patties on top. 3. Press to seal then grill over hot coals turning once halfway through cooking. |
