This meal of Peppers & Pierogies comes together in no time. Just use frozen veggies and pierogies and canned tomato sauce to create this yummy dish in a snap. Ingredients:
1 10-oz. pkg. frozen potato and onion pierogies |
1 16-oz. pkg. frozen stir-fry peppers and onions |
1 8-oz. can tomato sauce |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Cook pierogies according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of cooking liquid; cover pierogies to keep warm. 2. Spray a large skillet with non-stick vegetable spray. Add frozen vegetables; cook until tender and golden and most of the liquid is cooked off. Stir in tomato sauce and reserved liquid; heat through. 3. Toss vegetable mixture with pierogies; season with salt and pepper. |
