This is a hit whenever I serve it. It is like eating the top off the pizza! Ingredients:
2 cups (8 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese |
2 cups (8 oz) shredded cheddar cheese |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1 cup chopped pepperoni |
1 small jar sliced mushrooms, drained |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup chopped green pepper |
1 can (6 oz) ripe black olives, drained and chopped (optional) |
crackers or breadsticks |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine mozzarella, cheddar, mayonnaise, pepperoni, mushrooms, onion, green pepper and olives. 2. Transfer to an 11x7 baking dish. (I cut all ingredients in 1/2 and make it in a deep dish pie plate for a smaller crowd.) 3. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until edges are bubbly and lightly browned. 4. Serve with crackers or breadsticks. 5. IMPORTANT: Do not substitute reduced fat or fat free mayonnaise for regular mayonnaise in this recipe. |
