An attractive, delicious, easy snack. Ingredients:
5 miniature bagels |
1/3 cup olive oil |
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon cajun seasoning |
1 cup cream cheese, softened |
4 ounces hormel pepperoni slices |
1/4 cup ragu tomato sauce |
1/2 tablespoon italian seasoning |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 cup sharp white cheddar cheese, finely shredded |
4 ounces hormel pepperoni slices |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Line a baking pan with foil. Split bagels and place halves face-up in the pan. 3. Mix garlic powder and cajun seasoning into olive oil, and brush across the bagels. 4. Bake 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Set your oven to broil. 5. Prepare the spread: add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. 6. Slice warm bagel halves into 4 wedges each. 7. Add spread to wedges, and top each with a sprinkling of cheese and a slice of peperoni. 8. Broil 2-3 minutes, until pepperoni crisps and cheese is melted. |
