Ingredients:
4 egg whites |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/4 teaspoon(s) cream of tartar |
1-1/2 cup(s) sugar |
12 ounce(s) chocolate chips |
1/2 teaspoon(s) peppermint extract |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 300 degrees. 2. Beat egg whites until foamy. While beating, add salt and cream of tartar. Beat well until stiff but not dry. 3. Gradually add sugar, beating constantly until stiff peaks form. 4. Fold in chocolate chips and peppermint extract. 5. Drop from a teaspoon onto foil on a cookie sheet. 6. Bake 25 min. 7. Remove from foil paper while slightly warm. |
