Peppermint Candy Ice Cream |

This is a great treat on a hot summer day. What I do is buy the peppermint candies right after christmas when they're on sale. Ingredients:
1 cup crushed candy sprinkles, mints |
1 1/2 cups hot milk |
1 1/2 cups cream |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Dissolve the candy in the hot milk over heat. 2. Add cream and salt. 3. Chill, freeze until quite firm. 4. Beat until light and creamy. 5. Continue freezing. 6. Serve with hot fudge sauce. |
