An exciting combination of peppers and herbs with the smooth flavor of smoked mozzarella. Ingredients:
crust: 1/4 cup crushed ritz crackers |
filling: 1 pound philly cream cheese |
1 tea. lime juice |
2 large eggs |
1/2 tea. dried rosemary |
1/4 tea. ground savory |
1/2 tea. parsley flakes |
1/4 tea. garlic powder |
1/4 tea. white pepper |
1/4 tea. black pepper |
1/4 tea. salt |
1/2 cup smoked mozzarella, shredded |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325^. 2. Crust: Spray 6 spring-pan with cooking spray. 3. Swirl cracker crumbs until sides and bottom are dusted evenly 4. Filling: Blend cream cheese and lime juice until smooth. 5. Add eggs one at a time. 6. Add herbs, peppers and salt, mixing thoroughly. 7. Fold in mozzarella. 8. Pour into prepared pan. 9. Bake at 325^ for 45-55 minutes. 10. Let cool and serve at room temp. |
