Peppered Bread Sauce

Ingredients:
1 bay leaves
0.5 ounce(s) butter
0.5 ounce(s) butter
2 tablespoon(s) cream
6 ounce(s) fresh white breadcrumbs
1 pint(s) milk
1 onion
1 teaspoon(s) whole black peppercorns
8 whole cloves
Directions:
1. Stud the onion with the cloves. Place in pan with the milk and peppercorns. Gently bring to boil and then remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 20 mins.
2. Strain and stir in breadcrumbs. Simmer for 10 mins until thickened. Add in butter and cream
