This tasty dish can be served over rice, or we like it on top of noodles. Ingredients:
1 lb beef round steak |
2 tablespoons oil |
1 cup sliced green pepper |
1/4 cup sliced green onion |
3 cloves garlic, minced |
3/4 cup water |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Pound steak to tenderize. 2. Cut in 1/4 inch thick strips. 3. In wok or lg skillet, brown meat in oil. 4. Add peppers, green onions and garlic. 5. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes. 6. Mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce; add to skillet. 7. Bring to a boil. 8. Cook and stir for 1 minute. |
