These peppery pecans are such a breeze to make, I usually end up making several batches at Christmas! My hubby just loves them!! This is just a basic recipe, sometimes I add other peppers and spices to kick these up a notch -We like them hot! Read more ! Ingredients:
1/4 cup golden worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted |
1/4 teaspoon tabasco (more or less, to taste) |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
2 cups pecan halves |
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir in pecans. 2. Let stand 30 minutes. 3. Drain pecans and spread in a single layer in a 13- x9- x2-inch pan. 4. Bake at 250 degrees f for 35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. 5. Store in an airtight container up to 2 weeks. 6. Yield: 2 cups 7.
