Lime and fluffy is great for fish and chips Ingredients:
3 limes, juice of, squeezed |
1 cup rice flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 pinch salt |
2 egg whites |
3/4 cup water |
pepper (don't be afraid to add a little kick) |
Directions:
1. This one is a beauty. Lime seems to go with almost everything. Putting them into fish batter just makes sense. This is a quick and easy batter to put together. If you are a lime fan – give it a whirl! It makes enough for about 2 pounds of fillets. 2. Mix the ingredients well in a bowl ensuring all the lumps have been removed. Pat fish dry before dipping in the batter. Fry until golden brown. |
