PEPPER JACK GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Harrison Estate in Crandall, Texas in 1999. Ingredients:
1 can cream of celery soup |
1/2 cup milk |
1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese |
1 cup diced red pepper |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
18 ounces frozen cut green beans thawed |
1-1/3 cup french fried onions |
Directions:
1. Combine soup, milk, cheese, red pepper, cumin and pepper in baking dish then stir until blended. 2. Stir in beans and 2/3 cup fried onions. 3. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes then stir and sprinkle with remaining onions. 4. Bake 5 minutes then serve immediately. |
