Alternative to traditional corn dishes served. It brings a little kick to your meal. This is the most requested dish at all family gatherings. You can double, triple or quadruple the recipe and it doesn't affect the taste. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how good it tastes.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 (8 ounce) cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) can evaporated milk
20 ounces frozen corn
1 tablespoon sugar
1 (10 ounce) jar of sliced jalapenos, chopped
salt & pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 deg. Melt stick of butter in large saucepan, cut cream cheese into cubes and add to butter, after they are completely melted add evaporated milk. Bring to a boil and boil one minute, stirring constantly or it will stick and burn. Remove from heat and add sugar, salt, pepper, jalapenos and corn. Mix all together and add to a large baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes.
