From Pillsbury cookoff, excellent to serve alongside soup Ingredients:
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves |
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano |
1 (12 ounce) can pillsbury ready-to-bake refrigerated buttermilk flaky biscuits |
4 1/2 teaspoons olive oil |
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper |
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper |
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese |
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400. 2. In small bowl combine garlic powder, salt, basil and oregano.Blend well and set aside. 3. Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits. 4. Place 1 biscuit in the center of an ungreased cookie sheet. 5. Arrange remaining biscuits in a circle, edges slightly overlapping, around center biscuit. 6. Genly press out to a 10 inch circle. 7. Brush dough with olive oil and top with bell peppers and cheeses. 8. Sprinkle garlic powder mixture overtop. 9. Bake for 12-15 minutes of until golden brown. 10. To serve pull apart warm biscuits. |
