Pennsylvania Dutch Asparagus Casserole

This is so easy and I love it.
Ingredients:
15-20 tips of asparagus (simmer until tender)
5 hard boiled eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
2 t butter
4 t flour
1 1/2 cup cracker or bread crumbs
Directions:
1. Make white sauce-melt butter in pan, add flour. Stir. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened.
2. Brown 1 1/2 cups crumbs in 2 T butter. Place 1/2 crumbs in the bottom of a casserole dish. Add cooked asparagus and chopped eggs. Pour white sauce over and sprinkle with the rest of the crumbs.
3. Bake 350 for 1/2 hour.
