This dish is so easy and yet so tasty that whether it's your family or company; it will be enjoyed and appreciated, I like to make crusty long rolls with this and make garlic-butter to enjoy with them. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) package penne pasta |
2 tbs. olive oil |
1 tsp. minced garlic |
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil |
1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano |
2 tbs. chopped fresh parsley |
1 tomato, diced |
salt and pepper to taste |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese |
1 lb. shrimp, washed |
Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. 2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, heat olive oil. 3. Stir in garlic, basil, oregano, parsley, tomato, salt and pepper, and cook 5 minutes. 4. Stir in cream cheese until melted. Add shrimp and heat through, toss with cooked pasta and serve. |
