pasta and ham with red peppers, and herbs Ingredients:
1 lb penne pasta |
3 cups cooked ham |
1 large red pepper |
1 medium onion |
1/4 cup parsley |
2 cloves garlic |
2 tbs basil |
1/4 cup olive oil |
3 tbsp butter |
1 can chicken broth |
1 tbsp lemon juice |
Directions:
1. cook pasta according to directions. Saute ham, red pepper,onin, parlley, garlic, basil, and oregano in oil and butter until vegs are tender. Stir in broth and lemon juice. Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 10-15 min, or until liquid is reduced by half. Drain pasta , stir in ham mixture. |
