Same flavor as Pecan Pie. Uses oatmeal instead of the nuts. Ingredients:
2/3 cup rolled oats |
2/3 cup corn syrup |
2 eggs |
2/3 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2/3 cup margarine, melted |

Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, lightly beat the eggs. 2. Add all ingredients and mix well. 3. Pour into unbaked pie crust. 4. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes. 5. Lay a square of foil on top of the pie if it starts to get too brown. 6. Let cool before serving. |
