Same flavor as Pecan Pie. Uses oatmeal instead of the nuts. Ingredients:
2/3 c. rolled oats |
2/3 c. corn syrup |
2 eggs |
2/3 c. sugar |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1/4 tsp. salt |
2/3 c. margarine, melted |

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350° 2. In a mixing bowl, lightly beat the eggs. 3. Add all ingredients and mix well. 4. Pour into unbaked pie crust. 5. Bake 55 minutes. 6. Lay a square of foil on top of the pie if it starts to get too brown. 7. Let cool before serving. |
