Shortbread and nuts in good company, invite a tall glass of cold milk and take a dip! Enjoy...... Ingredients:
2st. softened unsalted butter |
1/2c. sugar |
1/2tsp. vanilla extract |
1/8tsp. almond extract |
1 3/4c. all-purpose flour |
1/4tsp. salt |
2/3c. toasted pecan pieces |
Directions:
1. Toast pecans on broil setting 5min, remove set aside. 2. Combine first 4 ingredients beat on med. speed til well blended. With wooden spoon stir in flour, salt and pecans. Roll dough out on floured surface 1/4in. cut dough 2in. round cookie cutter. Place on baking sheet and chill 30min then bake at 350 F; 15 min. |
