Pecan Pimento Blue Cheese Ball |

This is my favorite cheese ball recipe. A close family friend made it every year at the holidays and she always made me one on my birthday. She passed away a few years ago and I took over the tradition. I am unsure of where the recipe came from - but I would guess that it once appeared on the lable of the pimento cheese used in the recipe. It is so easy to make and is really yummy! Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1 (5 ounce) jar kraft pimento spread |
1 tablespoon blue cheese, crumbled |
1/2 cup pecans, chopped and toasted |
Directions:
1. Mix cream cheese, pimento cheese spread and blue cheese togehter until they are combined well. 2. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight. 3. Form mixture into a ball and roll in the pecans. 4. Serve with crackers. |
