I love pecan pie and I love cake.. SO pecan pie + cake = AMAZING.
Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 egg
1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/2 cup light corn syrup
3 eggs
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
1. Mix cake mix, 1 egg, and melted butter until well blended.
2. Reserve 2/3 cup of batter.
3. Spread the rest into a greasted and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes.
4. Mix reserved batter with syrup, 3 eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and pecans.
5. Pour this filling on top of crust and cook about 50-60 minutes at 325.
