Just like pecan pie, but in a bar instead! Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1/2 cup butter (melted) |
1/3 cup sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs, beaten |
3/4 cup sugar |
3/4 cup corn syrup (light or dark) |
2 tablespoons butter (melted) |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 1/4 cups chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F; grease a 9x13 pan. 2. Mix all of the crust ingredients at medium speed until crumbly. Press firmly in pan and 1/4 inch up the sides. Bake 15 minute. 3. Mix all of the filling ingredients except nuts together until well blended. Stir in nuts. Pour evenly over crust. Bake another 20 minute. 4. Cool completely before cutting. |
