Pecan pie you can eat with your hands!!! Ingredients:
2/3 cup sugar |
1/2 cup margarine, softened |
2 teaspoons vanilla, divided |
4 eggs, divided |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
2/3 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup corn syrup |
1 cup pecan pieces |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, margarine, 1 t. vanilla, and 1 egg. 2. Stir in flour and press into 3. bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 pan. 4. Bake until edges 5. are brown at 350 (about 10-15 minutes). Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, 6. vanilla, and eggs. 7. Stir in pecans and pour over crust and bake 25-30 8. minutes. 9. Loosen edges from pan, let cool and cut into bars. |
