This is a very good Pecan Pie recipe, a family favorite served up with a nice dollap of Cool Whip. MmmmmmmmmYum Ingredients:
1 9-inch pie shell |
4 large eggs, room temperature (i use jumbo size) |
1 cup light corn syrup |
1 cup sugar |
5 tablespoons butter, melted |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 cups pecan halves or chopped |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350* 2. In a medium size bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla and salt. Mix thoroughly. 3. Add eggs and whisk until thoroughly combined. 4. Stir in pecans and then pour into unbaked pie shell. 5. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until center is set. |
