My friend uses this recipe for her Pecan pie - I believe she said she got it from a Karo syrup bottle. It's delicious and not overly sweet like other pecan pies. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/3 cup butter, melted |
1 cup corn syrup |
3 eggs, large |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 1/4 cups pecan halves |
1 pie crust |
Directions:
1. Beat together first 5 ingredients until well blended. 2. Stir in pecans. 3. Pour into ready made pie crust. 4. Bake 375 for 50 -55 minutes. |
