Got from our local country cookbook. Got lots of compliments at my dinner party. Wonderful with a juicy rib eye steak off the BBQ. Ingredients:
1 head romaine lettuce |
1 can mandarin orange |
1 cup pecan halves |
1 bunch spinach |
1/2 cup red onion |
2 tablespoons maple syrup |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1/4 cup vinegar |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
4 -5 cloves garlic, chopped & crushed |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Mix together first 5 ingredients. 2. Make dressing- just before serving, add dressing& toss (can keep up to a week in fridge). |
