This is so good, I usually make a little extra to appease my husband (he gets to lick the bowl) until the time passes and we can eat it. It's a nice homey topping for my Clara's Chocolate Cake Ingredients:
1/2 c butter or margarine |
1/4 c + 2 tbsp milk |
1/4 c cocoa |
1 lb (3 1/2 - 4 c) |
1 tsp vanilla |
3/4 c chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. In medium sauce pan, combine butter, milk and cocoa 2. Stir over low heat til butter is melted 3. Add sugar and vanilla, stirring til smooth 4. Stir in pecans 5. Pour over WARM cake 6. Cool completely, UNDISTURBED, about 4 hours |
