A sweet and nutty treat for the kids. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar |
1/2 cup margarine, melted |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1 cup chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Cream 1/4 cup sugar and butter. 2. Add vanilla and blend well. 3. Add flour and salt then blend. 4. Stir in nuts and refrigerate 1 hour. 5. Preheat oven to 350 degree. 6. Lightly grease 2 baking pans. 7. Shape dough into 1/2 inch balls. 8. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. 9. Remove and roll the pecan balls in remaining sugar to coat. 10. Cool and roll again in sugar then serve. |
