Yummy with whipping Cream or Ice Cream Ingredients:
crust |
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut |
2 t. melted butter |
2 t. sugar |
1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs |
topping |
1/2 c. butter(softened) |
1/2 c. sugar |
1/4 c. brown sugar (firmly packed) |
1 egg |
1 tsp. vanilla extract |
2 t. milk |
1 c. all purpose flour |
1/2 tsp. baking soda |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1 c. ( 6-ounce package) semi-sweet chocolate pieces |
1/2 c. chopped pecans |
1 c. ( 8 -ounce package) candied fruits and peels |
Directions:
1. In bottom of 9- inch square pan 2. Combine & mix together well: 3. Coconut, melted butter, 2 T. sugar, & graham cracker crumbs 4. Spead evenly in bottom of pan (pat down lightly) 5. For topping: In large mixing bowl combine: 6. butter,sugar,brown sugar,egg,vanilla,milk,flour,baking soda & salt 7. Blend well with mixer 8. Stir in chocolate pieces & pecans 9. Spread over crust 10. Top with fruit 11. Bake: 350 degrees 12. Cool: 13. Cut into bars 14. Enjoy! :) |
