Pebble Top Chocolate Bars

Yummy with whipping Cream or Ice Cream
Ingredients:
crust
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
2 t. melted butter
2 t. sugar
1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
topping
1/2 c. butter(softened)
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 t. milk
1 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. ( 6-ounce package) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. ( 8 -ounce package) candied fruits and peels
Directions:
1. In bottom of 9- inch square pan
2. Combine & mix together well:
3. Coconut, melted butter, 2 T. sugar, & graham cracker crumbs
4. Spead evenly in bottom of pan (pat down lightly)
5. For topping: In large mixing bowl combine:
6. butter,sugar,brown sugar,egg,vanilla,milk,flour,baking soda & salt
7. Blend well with mixer
8. Stir in chocolate pieces & pecans
9. Spread over crust
10. Top with fruit
11. Bake: 350 degrees
12. Cool:
13. Cut into bars
