This is a recipe I got from Beth Hensperger's cookbook The Bread Lover's Bread Machine Cookbook. I love this cookbook. This makes a 1.5 pound loaf. The prep and cooking time is a guess. It all depends on your machine. Ingredients:
1 1/8 cups water |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
3 1/4 cups flour |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
2 1/2 teaspoons instant yeast |
Directions:
1. Add ingredients according to your breadmachine's instructions. 2. Set the cycle for dough and let it go. 3. When the dough cycle ends set it for the French Bread cycle and dark crust. 4. After baking, cool before slicing. |
