A very unusual side dish or vegetarian main dish. Serve over rice or cous cous. Ingredients:
8 ounces chickpeas, drained (from a can) |
2 cups peas |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
2 tablespoons cumin |
2 tablespoons butter |
black pepper |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a pan. Add garlic and cumin and sauté for 1 minute. 2. Add chickpeas and sauté until heated through. Add peas. Season with black pepper and serve hot. |
