PEARS IN BRANDY This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Turner Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1997. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons butter |
6 firm ripe pears unpeeled and cut in half lengthwise cored then thinly sliced |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
3/4 cup brandy |
Directions:
1. Heat butter in skillet over medium high heat then add pear slices and cook 5 minutes. 2. Turn slices then sprinkle with sugar and add brandy then ignite and swirl pan. 3. Serve immediately. |
