Pears and Ice Cream combine to make a new type of Ice Sunday.
Ingredients:
2 pear halves in syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 -4 tablespoons hot fudge
2 tablespoons toasted almonds, slivered
Directions:
1. Combine pears and pear syrup with vanilla.
2. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours.
3. At serving time, disregard syrup. Arrange pears with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in each of 2 stemmed dessert dishes.
4. Pour Hot Fudge Sauce over.
5. Garnish with toasted almonds.
