Pears and Ice Cream combine to make a new type of Ice Sunday. Ingredients:
2 pear halves in syrup |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 scoops vanilla ice cream |
2 -4 tablespoons hot fudge |
2 tablespoons toasted almonds, slivered |
Directions:
1. Combine pears and pear syrup with vanilla. 2. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours. 3. At serving time, disregard syrup. Arrange pears with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in each of 2 stemmed dessert dishes. 4. Pour Hot Fudge Sauce over. 5. Garnish with toasted almonds. |
