My beautiful friend Sarah, who took things like chocolate classes in her spare time! I think this probably comes from California... Ingredients:
4 bosc pears |
1/2 cup real maple syrup (vermont or quebec) |
1 cup roasted walnut (diy, it's easy!) |
raw honey (why mess around. sucanut or even brown sugar works too) |
melted butter (or ghee, pref organic) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to really hot (anywhere from 350-500). 2. Slice pears in half and core. 3. Rub pear meat with butter, stuff walnuts into pear center. 4. Cover with with a little bit of honey and some maple syrup. 5. Bake meatdown until pears are soft. 6. Serve immediately. 7. You can also sprinkle cardamom and cinnamon on top! 8. Good cognac or brandy helps too. |
