this is a pie recipe that I found in my box.... I have no idea where it is from..i am sorry Ingredients:
1 large can pear halves |
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind |
1/2 tsp. ginger, powdered |
1/2 tsp. cinnamon |
1/2 c. brown sugar |
1/3 c. flour |
1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted |
1/2-1 c. chopped pecans |
1 unbaked pie shell.....store bought or your own |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, butter and pecans to make crumb mixture. Place 1/3 crumb mixture on pie crust. Arrange pear halves on top. Add spices and lemon rind. Add rest of crumb mixture on top. Bake for 30-40 minutes until crust is light brown. |
