Pretty salad for a quick addition to any meal! Easy preparation! My mother always used this salad as a side and to enhance the meals she would prepare. (Pineapple may be used instead of pears.)
Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can pears
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup cheddar cheese (shred)
lettuce leaf
cherries
pecans (optional)
Directions:
1. Place lettuce leaves on serving plate.
2. Drain pears and place on lettuce leaves. Spoon mayonnaise on top and sprinkle shredded cheese. Add cherries and pecans. (Pecans may be toasted if preferred).
3. Serve and enjoy!
