This is one of my grandmother's recipes, I do not know where she got it... Ingredients:
9 cups pears, chopped |
6 cups sugar |
1 lemon, juice of |
1 cup crushed pineapple, drained |
Directions:
1. In a large pot, put the pears, sugar and lemon juice, bring to a boil and cook until thickened, stirring occasionally. 2. Add the pineapple and cook for 30 more minutes. 3. Put in sterilized jars and seal. |
