A lower fat, heart healthy recipe, so very tasty.! Cake is moist and taste great too
Ingredients:
1 can (16 oz) pear halves, drained
1 3/4 cups bisquick heart smart mix
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup fat-free (skim) milk
1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2/3 cup plain fat-free yogurt ( i used vanilla flavor )
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease and flour 9-inch round cake pan.
2. Cut pear halves into thin slices.
3. In medium bowl, stir together Bisquick mix, sugar, milk and margarine.
4. Pour into pan.
5. Arrange pear slices in circular pattern on batter; sprinkle with cinnamon.
6. Bake about 40 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
7. Top each serving with yogurt.
