Pear, Apple and Cranberry Crisp |

From the Almond Board of California. Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 pinch nutmeg |
1/3 cup butter, cut into small pieces |
1/2 cup rolled oats |
1/2 cup sliced almonds |
1/2 cup dried cranberries |
2 medium green apples, sliced |
2 medium pears, peeled and sliced |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a mixing bowl. 3. Cut in butter until mixture begins to hold together. 4. Mix in oats and almonds. 5. Toss together remaining ingredients in a 9-inch pie plate. 6. Sprinkle evenly with almond mixture. 7. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown. |
