one of my favorite salads, anytime Ingredients:
1 anjou pear, sliced thin |
1 cup toasted walnuts |
1/2 cup crumbled stilton cheese (or any blue cheese) |
2 heads arugula, torn |
1 head romaine lettuce or 1/2 lb spring greens |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 teaspoon walnut oil |
4 tablespoons olive oil |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. mix lettuce and arugula, toss with salad dressing. 2. serve on 4 plates. 3. top greens with cheese, nuts, and 4 slices of pear. |
