Pear Almond Couscous

This is a recipe I obtained from my pastor's wife. She brought this to our last potluck and it was a huge hit.
Ingredients:
14-1/2 ounce can chicken broth
1/4 cup raisins
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
16 ounce can pears drained and chopped
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 cup uncooked couscous
1/3 cup sliced almonds
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon butter
Directions:
1. In medium saucepan combine broth, raisins, salt, cumin and pepper then bring to a boil.
2. Remove from heat then stir in pears, lemon juice, couscous, almonds, cilantro and butter.
3. Cover and let stand 10 minutes then stir before serving.
