I found this one on the back of a Reeses PB Chips package. It turned out pretty good-even my hubby liked them, (and he doesn't like sweets) I think you could use a bunch of variations on this one and make them your own. Use your imagination! Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened |
1/4 cup peanut butter |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup brown sugar, packed |
3 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
10 ounces peanut butter chips or 10 ounces chocolate chips |
1/2 cup chocolate syrup (optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9 pan. 2. Beat butter and peanut butter in a large bowl. Add sugars and beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one. Beat in vanilla. 3. Stir in dry ingredients and mix well. Add peanut butter chips. 4. Spread 1/2 of batter in pan and spoon syrup over the top. Carefully top with the rest of the batter and use a butter knife to swirl for the marbled look. 5. Bake 35-40 minute or until lightly browned on top. Cool on wire rack and cut into squares. |
