This is my 3rd sons favorite, he has to have this as his b-day cake every year. Ingredients:
2 eggs seperated |
1/2 c sugar |
2 1/4 cup cake flour |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cup peanutbutter |
1/3 cup vegetable oil |
1 1/4 cup milk |
icing |
1/4 cup peanutbutter |
3 cups powdered sugar |
4-5 tablspoons milk |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9 cake pan or 2 9 round cake pans, n dust with flour. 2. In bowl beat egg whites till fluffy, add sugar n beat until stiff peaks form n glossy.Set aside 3. In large bowl add flour baking powder,salt n baking soda,add brown sugar,peanutbutter,oil and half of milk, beat on med speed for 1 minute. Add remaining milk n egg yolks, beat again for 1 minute.Fold in egg whites. Pour into prepared cake pan bake for 30-35 minutes or till test done.Chill completely then ice. 4. Icing 5. Blend peanutbutter n sugar in bowl, Add enough milk to make a creamy consistency. |
