This sauce is so yummy! I generally serve it over chicken( I like new seasons thai peanut chicken skewers) and oven baked brown rice ( look up recipe for foolproof ovenbaked brown rice). Ingredients:
1/3 cup peanut butter, i use organic |
1/4 cup soy sauce |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 cup water |
5 slices jalapeno peppers, diced (i use the nacho kind or fresh depending on what i have) |
1 small shallot, diced |
1 tablespoon cooking oil |
Directions:
1. Saute Jalapeno and shallot in cooking oil untill translucent. 2. Add remaining ingredients and stir together. 3. cook at a low heat untill sauce thickens, aprox. 5-10 minutes. 4. Serve over your favorite dish. |
