6 of 10 of my Christmas candies. These are my husband's favorite. I usually have to make a double-batch, because they strangely go missing while waiting in the fridge to be distributed. Ingredients:
1/2 c. peanut butter, creamy or chunky; your choice |
1 1/2 tbsp. butter |
3/4 c. sifted confectioner's sugar |
melted chocolate, for dipping |
Directions:
1. ***Prep time includes chilling time*** 2. Cut butter into small pieces and put in small saucepan over low heat. Add peanut butter and stir until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in confectioner's sugar as necessary to form a pliable mass. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about an hour. 3. Roll filling into small balls and dip in melted chocolate with fork; tap against pan to shake off excess chocolate. Place on waxed paper to set. Store candies in airtight container for up to two weeks. |
