Great over bananas, apples, cake, pie, ice cream, etc. Just be careful you don't finish it with a spoon straight from the jar. Ingredients:
10 ounces sweetened condensed milk |
3/4 cup no-sugar-added peanut butter |
3/4 cup cream (whipping or heavy) |
1/3 cup butter |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine the condensed milk, peanut butter, cream, and butter in a pot over medium heat. 2. Stir until well blended. 3. Add salt and stir. Taste and adjust the salt. 4. Let the sauce come to a gentle simmer and remove from the heat. 5. Cool a little so you don't burn your tongue or melt your ice cream before using. 6. Store in the fridge for up to a week. 7. To heat microwave for 10 seconds at a time until ready. |
