Peanut Butter Sweetie Cookies With a Kiss |

my granddaughter's favorite cookie Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup sugar, divided |
2 tablespoons milk |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup shortening |
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter |
1 large egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
6 ounces chocolate hershey chocolate kisses, unwrapped |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, 1/2 cup sugar, milk, brown sugar, shortening, peanut butter, egg and vanilla together;
2. mix well.
3. Shape into 1 balls, roll in remaining sugar.
4. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheet, slightly flatten with bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.
5. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
6. Remove from oven and place one chocolate kiss in center of each cookie.
