This is my husband's favorite ice cream topping. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter |
vanilla ice cream |
salted peanuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar and water in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil till sugar dissolves. 2. Remove from heat and stir peanut butter into sugar mixture. 3. Place mixture in a food processor or blender and blend on high till smooth. 4. Pour cooled mixture over ice cream and sprinkle with nuts if desired. |
